Wake Up!

Revelation 3:1-6 opens with an address to the church in Sardis, a once-thriving city known for its prosperity. However, the vibrancy of the city did not extend to the church, for it had fallen into spiritual slumber. Though reputation and external appearances may have given the impression of life, Jesus saw the spiritual reality and offered words of admonition, urging them to wake up, strengthen what remained, and return to Him with fervent devotion.

In verse 1, Jesus declares, "I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead."
