Gospel Transformation

According to the book of Colossians, life without Jesus is empty, it is dark, and it is ultimately hopeless. Those who are without Christ are imprisoned by philosophies that cannot save. They are dependent on legalism or cursed by lawlessness. Those who are without Jesus do not have true peace and their relationships are defined by strife. Yet they know that life has to be about more—there has to be greater meaning and purpose beyond getting up and going to work every day. Did I just describe you? Did I just talk about what you’ve been thinking and feeling lately? If so, then the message of Colossians is exactly what you need to hear. Because Jesus is greater than anything and everything you’ve built your life on. Jesus is greater than anyone and everyone you’ve looked to for hope. Jesus is greater than all. Therefore, those who know Jesus will be changed by Jesus.
